Greetings Tonkawa Lodge!

To our newly inducted members, welcome! To our returning brothers, welcome back! And to you who are just stopping by, feel free to browse the site and please let us know if we can help answer any questions. Our mission and goals can be succinctly described in three words: Brotherhood, Cheerfulness, and Service. We strive toward our vision that Tonkawa Lodge will be the premier lodge in the nation, cheerfully providing supreme program for its members, as well as meaningful and valuable service to Capital Area Council and the surrounding community.

How can you begin to take part in our lodge? After your ordeal, there is a plethora of activities to take part in! Show up to your chapter’s meetings, join a ceremony team, lead a service project, learn some Native American traditions, go on an OA High Adventure program, help staff a camporee, or play a game of field beach ball hockey with your fellow members, but most importantly, have fun!

Have you been in the OA for a while and not sure what the next step is? Try getting your brotherhood! The official way to seal your membership in our order, this is how you get those fancy bars on your sash that show that you know what it truly means to be an arrowman.

I look forward to working with you during my term as Lodge Chief, and am excited as to what the next year has in store.

Yours in Scouting,
Brian Ellis
