Indiana University will host NOAC 2018, and you can bet Tonkawa Lodge will be there! Very little information is available at present, but here is how NOAC has worked for Tonkawa in the past:

  • The contingent travels together on a charter bus. We leave a few days ahead of time and stop at various tourist destinations and other places of interest along the way. Depending on the length of the drive, we will stay in mid-range hotels at the end of a day of travel.

  • The cost per participant is expected to be $1500 – $1700. This will include all transportation, meals, lodging, the NOAC participant fee, and a swag bag that may include Tonkawa-themed shirts, hats, a personalized duffel bag, and other items.

  • In 2015, participation was more than double any prior year. As a result, National placed limits on the number of adults vs. the number of youth who could attend from each lodge. We do not know whether these limits will be in place again for 2018, but our wish is that everyone will stay flexible and patient as new information becomes available.
